Uddrag
Walker is a hostage negotiator who became a cop after he returned home from the war in South-East Asia.

Walker had to change career after his superior sent him to a shrink who diagnosed him with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, fundamental lack of empathy, blunted affect, addicted risk-taker and therefor he was unfit for a gun, and couldn’t continue to be a cop.

Walker also shows clear signs of a psychopath when he shoots Mark even though he just opened up to him “I stepped away from him.

Turned and brought up the pistol. His face froze. I put two rounds into his chest. Footsteps pounded on the stairs. Self-defense. Maybe now they'll give me my gun back.” [1]
