Indledning
This short story is written by Susmitta Bhattachrya and takes place in Cardiff. The story is about a woman named Lata and her husband named Anuj.
It is told through a third person narrator from whom we get an internal point of view and it makes it so that we can see what Lata is thinking and feeling.
They just got married and just started living together. Lata is a very energized women who likes to life and joke around. She herself says that back home her friends called her the groups joker.

She compares herself and immediately got the feeling that she looks old, and that she feels old. And surely she hates this feeling because she wants to be young and spend time having fun with her friends.
She tells about a day she and her friends ditched school to go have fun. It seems like that is the life she wants to have. Not having to worry and getting serious just yet.
Even when she and Anuj are watching the movie which is filmed back where she lived, she can only focus on the things in the background which reminds her of her past.
Her old collage. The beach she used to go to. The Shivaji park close to her home. Which clearly again is a sign of her missing her home.
