This analytical essay will analyse the protagonist from the movie Twilight, which is the first one in the saga of five movies.
The movie was instructed by Catherine Hardwicke, and it came out in November 2008 in the USA. I will focus on analysing Bella Swan, her plot conflict and the main theme in the novel.

Edward’s skin is ice-cold, but he has a warm heart. Bella has to keep a part of Edward a secret both to her family and friends.
Nobody can know about Edward’s secret, because his entire specie would be in danger. Therefor she has to lie about him, and his family.
Because of her moving she learned about a whole new world, with creatures she did not know existed. The antagonist, who is the evil vampire James, makes it his life mission to kill Bella. It ends with a battle, which leads to death.
