Hello everyone and thank you for coming here today. My name is Magne and I come from the university of Stanford in California, where I’m also are studying marketing and economics.
I have then been asked by the Principle of the School, if I would like to give a speech about McDonalds current problems, and if their turnaround strategy would solve their problems. One thing is for sure.

In addition to that, McDonalds also find that people have started to eat healthier in their everyday lives, so they also need to put more salads, and other lighter items on their menu, to attract those who also aim to get something healthy to eat during the day.
It was actually very appreciated by the franchisees, that they changed and removed items from the menu, because they said, “when the company’s constantly adding new menu items, it is creating financial and operational challenges.”
