Climate change is not somewhere else or anything in the future. It is right now and the most vulnerable are paying the highest price.
Is that fair? Do we in the richest part of the world have a special right to live a life that actually prevents others - now and in the future - from creating a tolerable and viable life? Is it ethically responsible?
