Living in a very modern society people experience a steep increase in the development of technology. Looking back at some of the inventions, it is noticeable that the technology has been progressing for years.

Throughout the years there have been experienced innovative inventions such as Thomas Edison who created the lightbulb. The lightbulb was just the beginning of a long list of useful ideas with some of the newest and one of the most mentioned inventions being the electric cars.

With people being more aware of the climate the demand for electric cars has increased drastically. Famous car brands are developing hybrid cars using electricity and petrol and electric cars running only on electricity.

The electric cars are expected to be able to withstand 150,000 miles before the battery needs to be changed. Changing a lithium-ion battery is extremely costly and could cost the owners more than the actual price of the car.
