Good afternoon and greetings students of Leith’s School of Food and Wine!
My name is Sille Schrøder, and I am an entrepreneur from Denmark, who is focusing on the problem regarding food waste around the world.
I am truly honored to be given the opportunity of providing you a speech on such an important issue, and I am here today to tell you about the impact, you can make by adjusting your food waste habits.

We absolutely love food in America, as you all might know. But another thing we also seem to love is wasting it.
Food waste is not only an issue concerning the united states, but also in the rest of the world. It is estimated that 31% of our food supply is either wasted or lost , impacting the stages of producing, processing, retailing and consuming.
