Indledning
I am going to analyze the story “Farida´s Eyes” by the author Leila Aboulela. In brief, the story concerns about Farida, which is a girl in an American school.
Farida has troubles seeing, which of course has an influence in her school time and how she takes action in school.

Her hard and difficult time in school is not the fact that she could be careless about schooling or doing unwell, and her homework was always on time and never forgotten, as explained in the story, quoted:
“Her homework was completed on time, her exercise books were spotless, and she never ever forgot a textbook at home.
As a result, her teachers were satisfied, her mother was pleased and though her father never voiced his approval, he grudgingly paid the school fees on time”.
She is a competent student who does the things she is told and never miss a handful of homework.
