Indledning
The ongoing evolution has divided our society. Because of the growing use of technology, humans are moving away from the nature that they came from.
Many people today cannot enjoy life without their phones or technology in general. Still, some people have not fully been engulfed by the technology and still seek to mother nature for peace and to get away from the everyday life.
The short story “Blueberries” shows how this contrast affect the people and their relationships with the couple who represent both these types of people.

On the other hand, there is the husband who seems more relaxed and down to earth. He seems more primitive and optimistic, and he tries to get the best out of everything.
An example of this is when he suggested that they could go for a swim and by giving her a compliment about how good a swimmer she is.
He tries to get set a good mood by talking to his wife, but is shut down repeatedly “No, I'm not," she said. "I'm not good at it at all."
It is these types of communication that tells us that this couple may not be such a great match and it shows us which things they individually prioritise in their lives.
