The Article, Walking While Black, by Ishmael Sistrunk was written in 2014 in the 13th of august. It deals with the issue the creator has been through with the police, especially while driving.
He also talks about the behavior of the black community. Furthermore, the essay will also draw parallels and analyze the poem Harlem, made by Langston Hughes and walking while black.

Many people get influenced by social media, movie/tv-shows etc. In many old movies black people are often portrayed as thugs and rarely shown as ‘good’ people.
It still happens in newer movies where they, again is showed as thugs. Many people miscomprehend it and jumps to conclusion, that every black person out there is a thug.
But the new generation has changed. Many parents have started to show that there is no difference between white and black. We still have the same color blood and the same color bones.
