Indledning
The short story “the Playground” was written by Matthew Jamieson. It is a story about a boy how experience racism. Thought the story the boy experiences the difficulty off being black.
In the short story we follow a narrator. It is not told who the narrator is and there is not given a name for the narrator. The narrator is a first-person narrator and that is showed thought the hole story.

The character “they” in the story is a flat character in the story. They do not change much in the story.
