Indledning
The Hunger Games are one of three books. They’re written by Susanne Collins. The first one is just called The Hunger Games and it’s written in 2008.
The second book is called “Catching fire” and it’s from 2009 and the last one “Mockingjay” is from 2010.

Over the years, science- and dystopian fiction has become a more and more a popular genre, especially for young adults.
In dystopian fiction, we’re presented to a whole new world. We meet this dystopian world in The Hunger Games. The main character Katniss, lives in the future, post-apocalyptic nation of Panem in North America.
The story is told from her perspective, so it’s her side of the story we get. And we also get to know her, during there three books.
The books were also made into movies. But the Mockingjay, is in the films divided into a part one and a part two, because every movie is about 2 hours.
