Ann Svensen discusses the fact that the tendency to wear school uniforms is increasing throughout the United States. Ann Svensen also shines a light on the influence of school uniforms and draws in studies to further investigate this matter.
She makes an important point about some people’s lack of trust in these studies, since they are not ”formal studies”. Furthermore, Ann Svensen includes an opinion from a psychologist who claims that school uniforms get rid of competition but at the same time deprives children of their individuality. She informs the reader that it may also be parents sharpening the discipline towards their children who have caused school crime to drop.
