You have always wanted to go on exchange, and you have now got the opportunity. For three weeks, you are going to the Rowland High School in Los Angeles, California.
As part of the one of the classes you are taking, called “Intercultural Studies”, you have agreed to give a speech about what it is like to attend a Danish high school.
My name is Christine and I’m 16 years old. I’m born and raised I Denmark, which is a country located in Northern Europe and the country contains a little bit over 5.8 million people.
The climate of Denmark is cold in winter and mild or warm in summer. My mom and dad have always lived I Frederikssund, where I am attending high school.
The next topics I’m going to talk about is: the transition from elementary school to high school, how I got to know the people when I started high school and things I like about my school.
Remember that I will stay for 15 minutes after my presentation to answer any questions you students might have.
