Indledning
Parker 51 is not only about an expensive pen but also a story about 3 people Rose, Nat and Roland that had a strange relationship with love and words. The story is written by Lesley Glaister a well-known British novelist, poet, and playwright.

The story is about a lady called Rose. She has a special way of thinking and a strange addiction and enthusiasm to certain words.

Her relationship with words was exclusive, considering the way she likes to play, listen and taste them in her mouth. For instance, she loved her name because of the rolling sensation it created in her mouth.

Furthermore, in the text, Rose met with a man called Roland Bloom over dinner. They started to fall for each other, and as time passed, Roland also wanted Rose to be his wife

but this time it was different because Rose loved the way how Rose Bloom rolled on her tongue.

She then wrote a final letter to Nat and wanted so heavily to return the pen, but she couldn’t. She thought that Roland would love the pen, which he did.

He borrowed it a lot, but then one day he lost it. At first, Rose was sad, but suddenly she didn’t seem to care. But when Roland died several years later, she sat down with her daughter Lily going through her stuff, where Lily found the pen.
