Uddrag
Eric Hoffer saw himself as an expert when it comes to the nature. “For 18 years, as a migratory farm worker and place miner, I knew nature at close quarters.”, Eric Hoffer wrote in his essay Nature and the City.

Eric was working outside the city which he found very stressful. “Nature was breathing down my neck, and I knew it did not like me”.

This line from his essay shows Hoffers relationship with nature and how he feels nature was very antagonistic. Eric Hoffer is certain that humans shouldn’t be living in nature, and it’s essentially attempting to dispose of us.
