Why is this parenting problem so common and how did all this chaos even start? Could it be because many parents aren’t motivated enough to cooperate to avoid their children misbehaving?
Imagine hoping for your life, that you aren’t the next victim to experience such a tragedy like the civilian who crashed their vehicle into your tree.
That seems to be the case for the short story’s main character, which is indeed Harmonic, written by Frederick Barthelme in 2000.

The prime environment is without a doubt swimming in chaos and madness, due to the occurred accident. Therefore, the streets are filled with firemen, cops and other authorities.
Although the scene is very chaotic in every which way, they still managed to have complete control over the situation, though they also seem calm in a few ways which this quote proves:
‘’A dozen of guys in rubber coats and big boots, in yellow slickers, carrying axes and flashlights, stand in little groups, smoking.
Other guys move around, talk, point light at people and things’’ (p. 80, line 14-16). The narrator describes the event as a cold winter evening, so remarkably very dark and depressing
furthermore we can picture the catastrophe with our own imagination: ‘’It’s cold. Everyone’s breath comes in silver streams, caught in the lights circling the yards of the houses. ‘’ (p. 80, line 29-30).
