“We’ve learned to fly the air like birds, we’ve learned to swim the seas like fish, and yet we haven’t learned to walk the earth as brothers and sisters”
- Martin Luther King Jr. This is from a speech that Martin L. King Jr. held back in the 1960s. Discrimination goes way back in time. The first human tribes discriminated in order to survive.
I think that discrimination is a significant issue in our modern society. We discriminate too much and I even do it myself.
I do not go up to someone’s face and talk shit about them, but if someone behaves like a fool I certainly form a lot of thoughts on how bad of a person he or she truly is.
I remember one time I was playing in my backyard, and a girl passed by and yelled “Head home to your home country!”.
