Satire and Animation are in some way connected and can be seen as the same in many occasions. But Satire and Animation are to be approach totally separately. Satire tense to use humour as a weapon to send its memo.1 Satire uses two humour theories to describes and analysis the satirical part of it.
The first one is called incongruity, and can be described as if to different pieces of a puzzle do not quite add up. We as audience except one thing and are to be presented to a whole different thing. When we as the audience realize this “confusion” it generates humour which are called incongruity. The other main point we call superiority.
The crux of superiority consists in people who laugh about hard luck, and this can induce the superiority for the audience. So we laugh because we feel “better” than them, but of course also feel a bit sorry for them.
