The movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” is instructed by Martin Scorsese and was released in 2013. It is an authentic movie based on the book “The Wolf of Wall Street” written by Jordan Belfort.
The movie is about how the main character “Jordan Belfort” builds his way to success and wealth, by fooling people into buying overpriced penny stocks.

Through most of the movie, he is living the high life. He uses his money on drugs and prostitutes.
Because of the unethical way he is making his money, he is quickly falling into a world of crime and corruption where he discovers the dark side of success.
The movie is giving a realistic insight on the stockbroking world at that time because it’s based on a true story, which means It must be realistic even though so many crazy things happen.
Not all stockbrokers lived like this, but the movie showed how Jordan Belfort lived. The main character “Jordan Belfort” is played by the actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
He is playing the role very well. Leonardo have never tried any drugs and the real Jordan Belfort had to describe what it felt like.
Despite never have done any drugs, Leonardo is doing an amazing job making it look like he is high in the movie.
In the crazy scene where Belfort and Donnie have taken way too many drugs not thinking they would work; Belfort is driving while being very high.
He completely crashes his Lamborghini while trying to get home. When he gets home Donnie is also very high.
They get in a fight and Donnie chokes on some food. Which leads to Belfort having to take more drugs before he can help.
This scene is a perfect example of how well Leonardo is playing the role. He is rolling around on the ground and doing crazy face expression like Jordan Belford taught him.
There are shown many different addictions throughout the movie. And Belfort suffers from more than one. He is addicted to work, money, drugs, and sex.
Drug abuse is the most shown addiction. Through most of the movie Belfort is taking plenty of different drugs every day.
