There has for a long time been a discussion about whether the British people should be part of the EU or if they should choose to vote in favor of Brexit and leave the EU.
The people in the UK have had many different views and opinions on this and it was especially the elderly who were in favor of Brexit.
However, most of the young people had a different attitude, as they were the ones who are affected the most.
Some of them are Emily Allwood and Anthony Hill who are British students in Maastricht and Madeleina Kay who dropped out of school to become a full-time pro-EU activist.
It is quite clear that it is the older part of the population that is in favor of Brexit and that the younger part is against it.
This is particularly shown in Dr. Sam Mejias of the London School of Economics’ study about young people’s attitudes to Europe.
He gathered data from about 10.000 people under the age of 30, all in different socio-economic groups. Over 50% of them showed some kind of positive identification with the EU .
