Indledning
The civil rights movement was an organized by Black Americans to end racial discrimination and gain equal rights under the law. It began in the late 1940s and ended in the late 1960s.
They wanted to achieve social justice and to be acknowledged, as well of getting rid of laws introduced by powerful white men
black people were not to use the same public facilities as white people, live in many of the same towns or go to the same schools.
