Michael Weber | African-American Civil Rights Movement summary

It is all about, discussing the causes and consequences of the movement to achieve full political, economic, and social equality for blacks.

In 1963 a black Baptist, named the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC.

He had a dream, the dream that one day, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together.

A dream that his children will live in a nation where they do not will be judged by their color. That black and with will stand together and join hands.
