Poppy Noor is a British college student. Like many others in Britain, her parents are part of the working class.
This means that she does not have the same opportunities as most of her peers at the college. Without the help from wealthy parents, it makes life at Oxbridge almost impossible.
“Although I may appear to be a success story, my background still remains the biggest barrier to earning a decent living.” Poppy Noor must finance education herself and must therefore work many hours each day.
