In many countries in the world, hunger is becoming a bigger problem as days go by. Hunger shouldn’t be something people would have to struggle with in 2020, but unfortunately it is.
In other parts of the world, the straight opposite is going on. Unlike places where people are struggling, the population in the western part of the world are overconsuming like never seen before.

But sometimes plans don’t go as planned. Sainsbury’s expectations were high, and they hoped that waste of food would be lowered about 50 % with their new technology. Unfortunately, the food had only reached 9% after one year of testing.
In the end, the project got dropped, but why did the experiment only last for one year. According to Sainsbury, their customers’ priorities had changed. In the bigger picture they understood that changes weren’t going to happened just overnight.
