Prospect House is a short story written by Frances Childs. It first appeared in Harlot red and was published by Serpent’s Tail in 2002.
The short story follows Kim, a girl who lost her job after getting Hepatitis B and therefore ends up in Prospect House.
The narrator in Prospect House is our protagonist Kim. The short story uses a first-person narration. Since Kim isn’t an omniscient (all knowing) narrator
she has limited knowledge about the other characters. Our character Kim is introduced as a new member of the Prospect House, coming from London.
