Indledning
The story Found, written by Hana Aranga in 2013, is about a 35-year-old, Maori man named Manawanui Hentena. He is a man who did not have a great childhood or an easy life.

Hentana was adopted when he was born and was therefore not familiar with his actual parents or family. Hentana has a negative mind, he curses a lot and has difficulties being optimistic.

His counselor offers him a job at the Tuhoe festival as a guard. At the Tuhoe festival, they celebrate the Iwi-people.

Hentana goes and realizes that he is sad and jealous of others lives, and how he wishes his could have been similar to that. He meets an old guy there and when he reveals his name and surname to him, the old man is shocked.

Then when we can hear his thoughts, he speaks with a lot of curse words and does not have the best thoughts.

But we as readers also get to see that he just wants to have what he sees everyone else having ‘As I spent the day standing in my highlighter yellow jacket looking like I gave a fuck

I couldn’t help but feel jealous watching families walk around together, teams on the field and groups on the stage.’, this example tells us that he is jealous watching others feel the love he did not get to.

He is neither positive when other people are trying to communicate with him, ‘Why all the fucking questions old man.

Didn’t wanna be rude, but I wanted to tell him to mind his own fuckin business.’, he was not very open-minded when speaking to his counselor, but neither with the old man who tried to normally have a conversation with him.

The story does not have an introduction, it just starts in the conversation, but we as readers do get a little sneak peek into what Hentenas life has been like. But this is not the introduction.
