The American movie Forrest Gump (1994) written by Eric Roth and directed by Robert Zemeckis is an epic romantic comedy-drama, which gives you an inside view, of the young kind-hearted boy Forrest, growing up, and handling his way of life.

There’re two main reasons, in my opinion, which makes Forrest Gump a great movie. First of all, humor.
It’s a kind of humor that makes you feel rude when you laugh, as Forrest isn’t trying to be funny, but sometimes lacks so much situational awareness and empathy (in a good way).
Secondly, the plot. There are so many hidden meanings and so many amazing twists and turns taking Forrest to so many different places, and even though the movie is 2 ½ hours long I’m not bored, even once.
