The vast majority of people wonder about their future, and to think about the future, is to think about technology.
In the 80’s we had several ideas about flying cars, robots being a part of our everyday lives, and many more exquisite dreams. But is the future as great now, as we expected it to be back in the day?
Is this new technology, we are looking at today beneficial for the human race, or is it more or less hurting our generation?
Markus Bernsen is not impressed with the way the technology has progressed, and he points out that it looks nothing like the digital dream, people had on their minds in the 1990’s.

I always tell my parents, that I’m so extremely grateful for being born in a period of time, where we got to play with real toys
spent hours running around playing soccer in our garden, and most importantly, we got to spend quality time, with our friends and family. It makes me sad, seeing children under the age of 12 being addicted to Ipads, Computer games etc.
Markus Bernsen is overall very disappointed, with this revolution Denmark’s “første-it-politiske handlingsplan” claimed we were in from 1995.
He is not only upset about how the technology is utilized but simply that "dimserne" do not work as optimally, as we all had hoped for.
Markus Bernsen wrote this article, with the purpose to make people aware, of what technology is bringing to our world, and what It will bring in the future.
His assertion is that we should not praise technology highly, because in reality it hasn’t been a big success yet, and most of the things we predicted haven’t gone to plan.
He does a great job of backing up his claims, with data and examples of different inventions and ideas, scientists have been working on, but doesn’t seem to work properly. For example, the self-propelled cars that ended up killing two innocent people.
Throughout the article, he is very narrowminded, and not even once, does he mention any of the many positive things, where technology has benefited the world heavily.
