The story “Fable” is about a seventeen-year-old girl called Fable. She spent the last four years surviving on an isolated island called Jeval because Saint, her father, abandoned her on Jeval after their ship, the Lark, sank in the Tempest Snare.
She has learned to fend herself by dredging for gems and selling them at the port. She used the coins she collected to buy her way off the island and visited her father and took what was rightfully hers.
Which is the fortune at the bottom of the ocean with the Lark. It turns out the scar Saint carved into her arm before abandoning her on Jeval is a map to the wreckage.

Everybody can feel betrayed and feel like the world is against them. When these emotions and struggles arise, you need the security of love and family.
However, when it is your own family that has betrayed you, it feels like you have no one to trust and everyone is an enemy sent from Satan himself.
The story “Fable” (2020) by Adrienne Young is about a young girl who had been abandoned on an isolated island called Jeval by her father, Saint. At Jeval, she had to fend for herself and live in cruel conditions without the security of love and family.
