Emily from Auckland set out to sail, single-handedly, around the world. The incredible voyage she found herself on took her about 518 days.
Emily has been sailing her whole life and tells us that she would grow old on a boat too. She succeeded in this incredible accomplishment at only 17 years old.

She tells. On the sea, there will always be good and bad days. The good days will always be the days with a clear sky and dolphins right next to your boat.
“I would sometimes Lay In front of the boat and act like I was swimming alongside them.” Of course, there will always be days where the weather is just bad.
She sometimes thought it was so bad that she just wanted to turn around and go home to the family. When a good day then came, she remembered why she was doing this, and never wanted to leave the sea.
