Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of Congress, my name is Jasper Wright, and I´m standing here today on behalf of the youth organization “America´s Future” to address the fact that we in the United Stats need more electrical cars on the road.
Firstly in my speech today I will take a look at the newly held election here in the US, and how we can live up to our end of the bargain of the Paris agreement, since Biden our upcoming president wants back in.

Less than a week ago, Joe Biden most likely won the presidential election over our current president Donald Trump, and when it comes to moving into a greener future this has a huge impact on us as a country.
November the 5th we officially left the Paris Climate Agreement led by the Trump administration, but in exactly 71days we will be led by a Biden Administration and will rejoin this agreement.
The Goal of this agreement which was signed for the first time in 2015 is to prevent the global temperature rise more than 2 degrees Celsius this century.
For this to become a reality, every country needs to take their part, and this includes us. Our focus at “America´s Future” is to get more electrical cars on the American roads, and slowly this is getting there, just not fast enough.
