This leads me to my first point on my agenda which is: By law, in more than half of the United States death penalties is legal, which is absurd to me and for the vast majority of all of you. In my opinion, this should not be case.
The companies that produce, for instance, the medicine to lethal injection, are also against the use of the death penalties.
To such a degree where they have both shut down the production of the medicine and refused to sell it to the states, knowingly it is being used to proceed lethal injection executions to prisoners.
Because of the strict limitations from the companies, the drugs that are being used are not as safe as I was personally.
There already have been occurrences, where lethal injection executions have gone wrong, where the prisoners were not killed instantly, and had to experience a terrible slow death.
If the circumstances are not perfectly fine and in order with death penalties, which they are not, prisoners should not be used as guinea pigs.
Secondly, the prison system is not shaped after death penalties. It is so expensive for states to proceed a convicted from the jury to the actual execution.
In the state of California, it takes 26 years between a death sentence and an execution. They have had very few executions in the state because, most people die of old age in prisons before.
