I am here today to tell you how we feel, and what we need you to do. As a young girl with almost my entire life in front of me, it is hard to watch all these people, who does not care about us and our next generations.
I am a here on behalf of “America’s Future”, which is a political youth organization, who fights to tell the American politicians that they should increase the number of electrical cars on the roads in America in order to help the environment. We are the future and we expect you to care.

In 2018, the transportation sector was responsible for 28.2% of all the greenhouse gas emissions in US. There is already way too much carbon in the atmosphere and existing technology – cars, factories, airplanes, and
so forth – will continue to emit huge amounts carbon.
We are absolutely aware, that we cannot live without these technologies, and that is exactly why we should start thinking about, how we can use them without the big amount of emission.
We should find other ways for instance to transport ourselves. In addition to reduce emissions, electric cars provide many benefits.
We know, that in the manufacturing process, electric vehicles will produce more global warming emissions than the average gasoline vehicle - but it is a whole different story when the cars are on the road.
The electric cars are not only environmental, they are also a lot cheaper for the drivers to use in the long run.
It is a brand-new technology and America should lead the way and show the rest of the world, that electric cars are the future.
