Beyonce, one of the most influential people on earth and an extremely popular figure in the music industry over the years. She is known for her many hit songs and has even acted in many famous films.
Beyonce is an inspiration to many people throughout her career and she continuous to do so in many different environments.
Because of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the graduating class of 2020 wasn’t able to have a graduation like any other. Instead of their proper graduation ceremony the class of 2020 participated in virtual ceremonies.

Beyonce also wants to uplift the class of 2020. She uses very encouraging words to uplift and push the graduating students forward. “You are achieving things your parents and grandparents never could imagine for themselves.
You are the answer to a generation of prayers” (ll.15-17). This quote is used to appeal to the audience’s emotions be telling the students that they managed to do something that was not possible by their parents and grandparents.
Further on Beyonce uses her own experiences to encourage the graduates to push even further.
