In appearance looks Boyd different, because he had another skin-color. Johnny’s mother Mrs. Wilson thinks that Boyd is starving and do not get what he needs.
At the lunch table,Mrs. Wilson says,“Now eat as much as you want to, Boyd” and finished it with “I want to see you get filled up”.
Mrs. Wilson is a person who judges people from how they look. She sees herself as a fine lady, who help the poor ones. In the end, she also offered some of Johnny’s old clothes.
