The skill to be able to switch between your ways of communication, can not only be the difference between life and death. But also, be the deciding factor in whether you get your dream job or not.

I'd like to tell you a little story. Now I have always been good at code-switching since a very young age. I had just turned 17 and had grown tired of working in the box at netto. I wanted to go out and
do something I could use in the future. That's why I applied for a job as a phone salesman for a phone company that I got directly on the day.
I started with my good friend and it was challenging for us at first. But within 2-3 months I was already several steps ahead of him because I considered that you had to adapt to the customers you talked to.
I adapted to their language, their speaking pace, and their ability to understand what I'm telling them. This ended up being a big win for me as it was a normal thing for me to do.
My friend ended up being a falling warrior. Some learn it at an early age, while others find it harder to "change" your personality.
