In the last decade has the proportion of Britons who say they have a mixed-ethnic background doubled, and the number is still growing, therefor is “Britishness” become a big subject in the British society.
Another major reason why this has become a so big subject recently, is also caused by Brexit and the breakup of the unions which led to Wales and Scotland having their own nationality, therefor Britain feels under attack, and leaves the British society with the feeling of their nationalism has been forgotten.
I think one of the reasons why the British society feels under attack, is because of their way of living in a multicultural society.

One of the main reasons why using this term, about people with other ethnic origins, is the large amount of racism in Britain.
One of the YouGov surveys shows that “two-thirds of black Britons have had a racial slur directly used against them or had 5 people make assumptions about their behavior based on their race” and more than half of the people who took part in the survey say “that their career development has been affected because of their race or that they have had people make assumptions about their skills based on their race” which is actually quite interesting because studies shows that people of Chinese and Indian origin tend to do well on all measures studied, and often better than white people .
The three Girls from the broadcast on BBC, thinks that the reason why their society is so separated between heritage, is due to way each individual has been brought up, because if you are a black individual there has been brought up in a neighborhood with people of other ethnic origin, you are less likely to integrate with people who do not look like you .
That could be caused by the difference between white and mixed-ethnic-Britons, often the whites have better paid jobs, which means that the white people lives is the richer area of Britain, and the lower paid mixed-ethnic-Britons lives in the poorer part of Britain .
