Indledning
For over a decade the world has lived in a social system called patriarchy, where on one side we have men who are in charge and lead society, and on the other hand, we have women who become objects and men’s property.

This has been seen a lot politically, economically and socially, where men have been dominating, but according to the article “The end of men”by Hannah Rosin.

The Atlantic, July/August 2010, patriarchy is about to end, and women are becoming the ones who hold the power. If this is reality, then what will happen to the men in our society? Is this the end of men?

Uddrag
To get her argument and point of view out Hanna Rosin engages her audience, which she does at the beginning by asking questions as “But what if equality isn’t the end point?

What if modern, postindustrial society is simply better suited to women?” in lines 4-5. Hanna Rosin also engages her audience by using metaphors, which we see in lines 60-61, “These females are going to leaves us males in dust”.

It tells us how women will cause men’s influence in society to vanish. Moreover, it helps the reader to understand Hanna Rosin’s argument better.
