It’s easy to be an optimistic “do it yourself” person, if you take it for granted, because there is so many resources.
America is not an old nation, and back in the times, people from all over the world moved to America to be farmers, to hunt, to get gold and silver and that was because there was so much ground to use.
Millions of hectares got burned, only to get more ground for the farmers. If you were done one place, you moved with your family to another place, because there was enough place for that.
