Indledning
Half Caste is a term for children with one parent of each color. You can almost hear it on the word. It could be if a white woman and a black man or opposite gets a baby.
Then it´s called a “half Caste child”. There were a lot of these children in Northern Australia because there were few white women, so there were a lot of black women and white men who got children together.

The Protector of Aborigines was the government and white colonial power. The children should be “saved” from a traditional Aboriginal way of living, because the white colonial power considered it as inferior and uncivilized.
The Protector was a legal guardian for the Aborigines in Western Australia to the age of 16 years.
The “Protector of Aborigines” had the power to remove the Aboriginal children from their families and homes.
