Indledning
The presidential election has attracted the attention of the entire world. As the greatest economic superpower in the world, the United States of America craves? a fit and qualified leader.

The fact that the actions made by the USA also affect the rest of the world in many ways, means that a lot of people around the world follow the presidential election very closely to get an idea of who will be the next unofficial “world leader”.

The purpose of this paper is to highlight the differences between the two democrats, Hillary Clinton and Bernard Sanders, and to discuss why Hillary became the democrats’ presidential candidate. This investigation is done by comparing the two candidates’ self-declared policies and by analysing the Democratic Presidential Debate in Flint, Michigan.
