The British education system might seem a bit confusing, but that is not the only problem. Some people states that the free state schools are often referred to the working class, where the private schools are for the elite.
Statistics shows that the year before the pandemic, pupils from private schools were seven times more likely to gain a place at Oxford or Cambridge university , which many associate with popularity and money.
While working-class kids work hard to achieve their dreams, “private-school families can buy their way in”.
Maybe it’s not rocket science that you will have more opportunities the more money you have, but the problem in Britain
is that a lot of studies shows that there is differential treatment between the classes, even though the pupils come out with the same results .
