Indledning
In the short story "Sparrow and Finch" by Alison Powell from 2015, a young lady named Sparrow reveals her story of continually being the most disliked when contrasted with her twin sibling Finch.
The structure alongside the character development of Sparrow into expanding envy towards Finch permits the author Powell to practically depict the passionate pressure she aggregates through an existence of disregard, particularly from her family.

Sparrow is willfully ignorant about her circumstance. This is noticeable when Sparrow describes her brother and siblings: "I’m not telling you this because I’m bitter.
I’m telling you because it’s true." In corresponding to the closure: "I swear I hadn’t thought it through. The words simply fell out of my mouth: ‘I dare you to jump from here.''
Despite from the start going on as though she doesn't begrudge her brother and all the thankfulness he gets; she gives no indications of regret and doesn't wince when Finch says he will jump from the treehouse.
