Indledning
Sometimes people can hold symbolic value towards certain things, it could be a dress or even jewelry. When those ownerships are stolen it can hurt, and condemn towards the burglar can be difficult, especially if it’s someone you know and trust.
Such is in the case Susan Summers’ brief story “Rachel and Flora” written in 2006, where the main character Rachel gets her dress stolen by her own sibling, Flora.
The relationship between Rachel and her sister Flora is very tense, which can be felt during one of their conversations,” I wish she would shut up!” snapped Rachel” (p. 10 l. 79).
In respond with a provocative tone Flora says, “What are you angry about?” asked Flora in a lightly whipped voice” (p. 10 l. 80).
