How tempting is the idea of letting a robot do almost everything for you ? Today, according to science, artificial intelligence is rapidly advancing in several areas of modern society, such as the medicine field.

The purpose of using these advanced technologies is to create a more efficient community, but the question is: Will we be able to handle such electronic power?

This question can be reflected on while watching Alex Garland's science fiction movie "Ex Machina". The film deals with a programmer named Caleb, who after having participated in an experiment for his boss, Nathan, begins to establish a personal connection to the A.I.

He also learns that Nathan intends to upgrade Ava by deleting her memory, including her interactions with Caleb. To prevent this from happening, Caleb steals Nathan’s security card and gains access to his computer.

This leads to the point of no return, which is when Caleb decides to help Ava escape. This is the beginning of the third act, the resolution.

At their last session, Ava cuts the power and discusses her plan of getting Nathan drunk and reprogramming the security system with Caleb.

This can be considered the second plot point, as we understand that something crucial is about to happen. But their plan fails when Nathan declines to drink and reveals to Caleb that he heard his secret conversation with Ava.

However, Caleb answers that he suspected him watching them and therefore modified the security system the previous day when he was drunk .
