Indledning
Anthony is one of the many homeless young people living in Great Britain. He is 17 today but has been homeless on and off since the age of 14. He was thrown out of his family's home because of his violent behavior against his mother and siblings.
He was sent in several foster care homes but ran off and ended up on the streets. His story is one of many presented in the documentary “Where am I sleeping tonight?” - from 2015. It is estimated that 4.751 people sleep rough each night in Great Britain - and the number is increasing.
But the question is, why are so many - especially young people homeless? And how do we get them off the streets and into a normal secure life?

The definition of a homeless, is when a person doesn’t have a permanent dwelling, for example, an apartment or a house. There’s a lot of different ways of being homeless in Great Britain nowadays, such as sofa surfers, rough sleepers, travellers and “hidden” homeless.
A sofa surfer and “hidden” homeless is almost the same way of homeless being and aren’t considered homeless. It’s actually when a person is staying at family or friends but still try to get their own permanent accommodation.
Rough sleepers are people who sleeps in the open air. This includes doorways, shelters, caves, under bridges or elsewhere not designed as dwelling.
A homeless traveller is a person, who wants to feel free and experience life without being stuck at the same dwelling.
