Indledning
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. It is a pleasure for me to be here tonight. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Christopher Gardner and I am 18 years old.
It is an honour to be standing here with all of my fellow graduates. Many of you probably know my father, Chris Gardner.
My father has a big impact on me, standing here tonight with all of you. He has been my inspiration, and my hero throughout my whole life.

One of the best memories I remember from my childhood, will for some people be their worst nightmare. My dad and I did not have a home because we got evicted.
We were living in cheap motels and the one experience that meant a lot to me is when we had to sleep in a public restroom.
It sounds like a disgusting and bad memory, but my father made it an adventure. He told me that we were time travelers, traveling back in time, when dinosaurs were alive and we had to go to our cave, to stay protected.
The cave was, of course, the restroom we stayed in, but I did not mind it at all. Another memory I had as a child was when my dad and I went to the park and I was shooting hoops.
