Indledning
Separation can be two things, either physical separation or psychological separation. Today we are more likely to experience the psychological effects of separation
for example not being able to connect with people due to created barriers such as our phones. We have all experienced the situation where we all are together but don’t acknowledge each other existence.

The first paragraph of the short story if from the son’s point of view, where he describes how his father comes in and checks on him before going to work, and him pretending to be asleep.
While all of this is happening the father at the exact same moment shares his his feelings towards his son while looking into his bedroom while he is asleep.
Through fragmentation, the reader gets a look into both the son’s and the father’s perspectives. The father explains how his son has let him down
and how much it hurts when he shows hostility towards him is shown both verbally and through his actions.
