Ever since the British colonized America, there have been a way of looking down on African American people. Whether it is the straight up enslavement of them and treating them more like animals than humans
or it is simply just police officers in current day, racially profiling people to be criminals, it there and it is a problem.
But we all know to a certain degree the effects of racism in today’s world, but how about learning about the 1800s black America through the movie Django - Unchained.
You could argue that Calvin Candie was the biggest opponent of Django’s, but with the last scene of both Candies and Dr. Schultz’ before the get killed, it shows how Candie was more of Dr. Schultz’ opponent than Django’s
even just earlier in the movie were Dr. Schlutz can not stand Candies attitude against African Americans, while Django at the very least can bare to hear without flinching, implies that Candie is Dr. Schultz enemy more than Djangos.
That only leaves the Receiver who of course is the same as our Subject, Django, considering the Object he tries to obtain is his wife and does succeed in doing so.
